Leachate Processing and Maintenance

Project goals

Waste Assets Management Corporation (WAMC) is seeking to engage a single service provider for the maintenance and operation of dedicated Leachate Treatment Plants (LTP) located at Alexandria (former) Landfill, Belrose (former) Waste Management Centre and Eastern Creek Waste Management Centre.

These landfill and containment cells continue to produce landfill gas (generated from the decay and break down of organic and inorganic waste) and leachate (generated from water passing through decaying waste).

The service and maintenance of the landfill leachate infrastructure is critical for the ongoing management of the landfills.
