The Shire of Augusta Margaret River (Principal) requires the services of suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to join a Panel to undertake numerous and diverse minor civil, ancillary activities works and building services throughout the shire region, to complement those already undertaken inhouse
It is not expected that the Contractor is able to perform all of the below works. When making a submission, the Contractor must indicate which services they are able to provide. The Works will include scheduled maintenance, repairs scheduled or arising, emergency callouts when requested and minor upgrades including improvements to existing infrastructure and refurbishments including, but not limited to:
- Retaining, Concreting and Paving
- Blockwork, retaining wall construction, supply of materials and installation
- Concreting, constructing minor footpaths and kerbing works, crossovers, footings and pram ramps including supply of the Concrete at cost plus profit and attendance
- Paving, installation of new and repair of existing. Both road and footpath paving
- Concrete pads, sheds and other small non-habitable structures
- Laying of exposed aggregate.
- Infrastructure Installation
- Fencing, gates and repairs, supply of materials and installation
- Including shelters, bin stands, and BBQs, typically materials will be supplied by the Shire
- General maintenance/handyman services, including brick work, timber garden edging supply and installation
- Drainage, includes rock pitching, rain garden installation and typical roadworks drainage installation
- Minor pavement repairs, potholes, crossovers, intersection defects. Typically, less than 25m2
- Installation of playground equipment, prefabricated by others
- Irrigation, supply, repair and install
- Carpentry Services, Minor Building Construction Services
Shire of Augusta Margaret River is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit Shire of Augusta Margaret River staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
