Hinchinbrook Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for Contract HSC 24/20 for the supply and delivery of goods under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) Program – Priority Roads Material Supply. It sets out the technical and contractual requirements applicable to the provision of decomposed granite (deco gravel) materials across various locations within the Hinchinbrook Shire.

The Scope details the Supplier’s responsibilities, performance standards, compliance obligations, and reporting expectations necessary to ensure the effective and timely delivery of materials in accordance with historical unsealed pavement standards. It also addresses critical aspects including biosecurity management, legal compliance, procurement protocols, personnel requirements, and transitional arrangements.

This document shall be read in conjunction with all referenced appendices and must be interpreted in accordance with the order of precedence set out herein. The Supplier is expected to maintain regular communication with the Principal’s Superintendent and demonstrate a commitment to best-for-project outcomes through proactive management, coordination, and compliance.
