IT Compute, Storage and Backup (CWT202500542)

⁠⁠⁠The City of West Torrens invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of goods and services to replace the Council's core IT compute, storage and backup environment.

SCOPE:

• Replace existing end-of-life infrastructure with a modern, high-performance and scalable solution that meets current and anticipated future requirements.
• Ensure a seamless transition to the new infrastructure with minimal or no disruption to business operations, including during installation, configuration and data migration.
• Improve the security posture of Council through up to date technologies that comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure access to support services, ongoing maintenance and vendor warranties to minimise risk and downtime post deployment.
• Enhance the overall reliability, speed and performance of the IT environment to support mission critical applications and services.
• Achieve the best value for investment by considering total cost of ownership, including procurement, implementation, support, energy consumption and lifecycle costs.
• Maintain or improve upon the current management capabilities (centralised patching, backup, monitoring and lifecycle management) to streamline IT operations and reduce administrative overhead.

Note: Compliance with the Council's online tool for managing contractors' Work Health and Safety (WHS) systems is a mandatory requirement. Please refer to Schedule 6 for detailed information. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in a non-conforming submission, and such submissions will not be considered during the evaluation process.
