Project goals
Sydney Water has an ongoing requirement for Abrasive Blasting and Coating Services for maintenance and other project works delivered through Regional Delivery Partners (RDPs), Major Projects team and Network Operations. Suppliers meeting Sydney Water requirements outlined in the Expression of Interest form (capability and capacity) shall be invited to participate in the Tender Process and establish a supplier panel.
Scope
Supply of Abrasive Blasting and Painting carried out on Water Reservoirs, Pipelines, other assets on Treatment Plants, etc but not limited to the following:
- Providing painting and coating services in a timely manner for Sydney Water and Delivery Partners operating areas. Ensuring prioritisation of safety, environment and quality.
- Employ ethical and equitable practices.
- Reporting of KPIs on a monthly basis.
- Surface Preparation
- Coating Application
- Removal, transport and disposal of all debris and waste material in accordance with EPA requirements;
- Restoration of all surfaces and any services disturbed, destroyed or damaged by the work to pre-existing condition;
Additional details/instructions
Suppliers to complete MS Forms EOI Questionnaire. This information is used to determine the capability to initially meet Sydney Water requirements and subsequently, be invited to participate in a selective Request for Tender event. Telephone calls are not accepted. E-mail correspondence is the only means of communication for audit purposes.
Successful respondents will be requested to self-register for Ariba if they are not already registered on the platform.
Unsuccessful respondents will be removed from the procurement process and will not receive an invitation to participate in the Request for Tender for the Supply of Abrasive Blasting and Coatings Services.
The Expression of Interest will close on the 04 June’2025. The Project Working Group will review responses received and shortlist suppliers based on capacity, capability, and compliance to safety and quality requirements. Successful respondents will be invited to a selective Request for Tender in June 2025.
