Scope of work

RMA Yarwun Capacity Increase Project - Earthworks.

Clearing and grubbing of trees and grasses within clearing footprint, timber to be stockpiled and sheared. Once shearing is complete timber to be loaded into Company provided Articulated Dump Trucks and hauled to stockpile location.

General scope includes;

• removing trees, shrubs and overhanging branches.
• placing fallen logs and branches suitable for fauna habitat clear of construction activities and into adjacent habitat outside the clearing footprint.
• removing stumps, roots, rubbish, other objectionable material and other organic matter (including any subsequent regrowth).
• removing noxious weeds, crops and other vegetation from the ground surface (including any subsequent regrowth).
• removing rocks, buildings and artificial obstructions from the ground surface;
• removing and/or demolishing existing drainage infrastructure and roadside furniture including barriers where not scheduled separately;
• all removed, cleared and grubbed materials which are not to be reused will be transported and stored at designed locations on the Site.
• trimming and lightly compacting area

This scope of work is a summary description of goods and/or services that may be required by Rio Tinto and may be subject to change in Rio Tinto’s absolute discretion.

As this is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only, the specifics of the package of work relating to breadth of scope, location and timing may be subject to change. If successful, the Supplier/s will be notified of any changes prior to award.
