T25-04 - Dry Plant Hire Tender

Due to an increase in the volume of works to be delivered this financial year, Junee Shire Council is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced Tenderers for the provision of Dry Plant Hire Supply in accordance with the requirements identified in the Specification. This also includes requesting that existing tenderers resubmit their new rates for the plant and equipment they offer to the council.

The panel arrangement for Dry Plant Hire Supplier Agreement T25-04 required under this Agreement is to supplement Council’s own plant and equipment and/or provide additional and specialist plant/equipment to enable Council to complete its operational works.

Council’s main areas of work are associated with the construction and maintenance of the shire's roads, footpaths, water, sewer assets, and the maintenance of parks and recreational facilities in the local government area.

Junee Shire Council reserves the right to increase or reduce the scope of works prior to commencement, and during the works/financial year to meet budgetary obligations.

The contract will be initially signed for one year. Council may extend the agreement up to two occurrences, for another one-year period, based on the assessment outcome of the contractor’s/supplier's performance, provision of the appropriate insurances and the rates at the end of each financial year

The successful Contractor shall be required to hold and maintain suitable Public Liability insurance, Workers' Compensation insurance, and all other relevant insurances as detailed in the Tender documentation. These documents must be supplied with any Tender submission.
