The Customer is seeking Offers to supply a Mid West Digital Economy Strategy as described in the Request document.

Statement of requirements

The Client is seeking offers for a Mid West Digital Economy Strategy 2026 to 2029 (the Strategy) that considers modern industry and community demands, infrastructure and connectivity enhancements and contemporary applications and opportunities for social and economic development.

This supports Initiative 1.2.3 of the MWDC Strategic Plan to

• Facilitate digital solutions to develop and sustain highly skilled businesses and workforces

• Update regional digital strategy,

• Digital skills to build competitiveness of the region

• Ongoing roll out of fit for purpose telecommunications infrastructure,

• Solutions to network congestion

This supports the following relevant Mid West Regional Advantage opportunities:

• Professional and knowledge intensive supply chains supporting mining and agricultural activities

• Regional road and sea freight opportunities

• Green energy production and transmission

• Green metals / materials manufacturing

• Quality of living investments, facilities, and services

• Defence, space and radio astronomy opportunities.

Scope of services/ project

Respondents are asked to submit a proposal for a Mid West Digital Economy Strategy that explores the current and potential utilisation of the region’s existing and planned digital connectivity infrastructure and identifies solutions that enable regional stakeholders to better leverage this capability for enhanced economic and social development.
