Newcastle City Council (Council) invites suitably qualified tenderers to undertake the civil construction works for the Mitchell Street Seawall Renewal & Upgrade project at Stockton, NSW 2295 within the City of Newcastle Local Government Area (LGA). The works include - environmental controls, excavation works, removal of undersized and damaged armour, supply and placement of approximately 8,500 tonnes of new rock armour, repair of existing gabion baskets and repair & restoration of by COB existing stormwater outlets.

Persons willing to fulfil the requirements of the proposed contract are invited to submit a tender to the Council by the deadline, 2:00 pm on Tuesday, 1 July 2025 (at the Tender Box). Responsibility for the lodgement of completed tender documents by the deadline lies solely with the Tenderer. Tender lodgement information is provided in the tender document. Council is not bound to accept the lowest tender or any tender submitted

PRE-TENDER MEETING: A non-mandatory pre-tender briefing and site inspection will be held on Thursday, 29 May 202,5 at 11:00 am at the southern end of the Mitchell Street Seawall, Stockton, NSW 2295. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required at the site inspection, including a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, high high-visibility vest, a hard hat and steel cap boots.
