Waipā District Council (Council) invites tenders for Water Meter Reading Services. Waipā District Council provides services to an estimated population of 62,700 (Approx. 18,258 property meters), its area of operation encompasses almost 1470 square kilometres.

The Contractor will supply all labour, materials, transport, equipment, data line and Meter Reading Equipment to perform the services. The contractor will be expected to do the following:

• Accurate quarterly/monthly meter reads (manual, smart, trade waste) and property inspections.

• Timely data validation/transfer and customer service support.

• Safe, efficient service delivery with minimal disruption to residents/businesses.

• Provision of labour, equipment, and technology for meter reading and reporting.

• Compliance with performance targets for quality, accuracy, and communication.

Repair, installation and removal of water Meters is NOT included in the scope of Services.
