Analytical Tools Deployable to Databricks to Describe the Network and Evaluate or Design Surveillance Programmes

OSPRI is a not-for-profit limited company established that now wholly owns TBfree New Zealand Limited, National Animal Identification and Trading (NAIT) Limited and M. bovis Free New Zealand Limited as subsidiaries.

The NAIT programme provides the national animal identification and traceability system as per the National Animal Identification and Tracing Act 2012.

NAIT is an online tool used to provide fast and accurate tracing of cattle and deer to support disease management in New Zealand and its data is suitable to be analysed as a network. OSPRI's Data Warehouse is built on a platform capable of large-scale graph/network analysis, being Azure Databricks.

This Expression of Interest is to create a short list of potential parties for a future RFP process that would select a contractor to develop a transferable analysis tool, built in or deployable to Databricks, to transform NAIT data into a network, provide the analytical tools to describe the network and upskill OSPRI in its use to evaluate or design surveillance programmes.
