DLGSC His Majesty’s Theatre Upgrade of Theatre LIFTS

Programmed Facility Management Pty Ltd (PFM) on behalf of Department of Finance (DOF) and Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC) are seeking quotes from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to the upgrade of the theatre lift No1 and 2 at His Majesty’s Theatre located at 827-905 Hay Street Perth WA 6000.  

The Work under the Contract for lifts 1 & 2 broadly comprises, but not limited to the following:

• New Simplex Controllers
• Replacement of hoist motors and diverter sheaves
• New overspeed governors
• Installation of new lift power and drive controllers
• New/upgrade mains switchboard in machine rooms
• Installation of new car power door operators
• New landing doors and hangers, tracks rollers and locks on all levels.
• New car and counterweight roller guides
• Lift and Machine Room communication systems
• New lift car interior panels including walls, ceiling and floor, PC Sum ($45,000.00. Lift 1 only)
• New Car Operating panels
• New travelling cables
• New hall lantern indication and landing buttons.
• Refurbishment of existing car and counterweight buffers.
• Work Health and Safety Requirements
• AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Regulations

Tenderers shall make themselves familiar with the existing site conditions, the specifications, drawings and all Contract documentation.  All measurements and details shown on drawings or other documents (if any) are to be confirmed by Tenderers prior to submission of their Quote. 

All materials and installation shall be supplied and be in accordance with Australian Standards and all codes and regulations relevant to the Scope of Work contained herein.

Site Visit

A site visit will be held at His Majesty’s Theatre, 827-905 Hay Street, Perth on 23 May 2025 11:00 AM.

Mandatory Site Briefing

A mandatory site briefing will be held at His Majesty’s Theatre located at 827-905 Hay Street Perth WA 6000.

Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
