Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified Proprietary Limited Companies for the periodic supply of mobile gravel crushing services on an as required basis for the term of the contract.

The work to be executed under this contract consists of the crushing of “conglomerate” type material to produce:

a) Minus 20 mm Road Base and/or

b) Minus 30 mm Road Base and/or

c) Minus 40 mm Road Base and/or

d) Minus 50 mm Road Base and/or

e) Minus 60 mm Road Base and/or

f) 50-100 mm Cobble.

Council anticipates that crushing operations may be undertaken at up to eight separate quarry sites located within a 100km radius of Narrabri.

Crushing may also be required at other quarries within the Shire.
