Browns Range Heavy Rare Earths Project

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Northern Minerals (NTU) is seeking to develop the Browns Range Heavy Rare Earths (HRE) Project (the Project) in the East Kimberley Region, Western Australia. The Project contemplates the mining and processing of ore initially from the Wolverine deposit to produce a xenotime concentrate. The Wolverine deposit is rich in dysprosium (Dy) and terbium (Tb), both critical inputs to high temperature performance magnets, which are essential components in the manufacture of performance technology solutions for clean energy. NTU has a strategic partnership with Iluka Resources Limited which includes a Supply Agreement for the supply of up to 5,500 t contained Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO) in concentrate per year and a total of 30,500t (TREO).
