The Technology Branch is seeking to procure the specialist services of an Azure Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop and implement an Azure Cloud Model that aligns with the outcomes of the OFWO’s Technology Strategy and requirements to enable delivery of a secure IT system for investigating criminal offences.

The expected outcomes include enhanced productivity and value creation by removing friction and time in provisioning new cloud resources in support of business systems. This will be achieved through extensive automation to enable self-service and reduce time taken to process requests. Additionally, the Azure Cloud Model will enable greater auditability by having improved records of processes and actions made. Having more control over configuration and security will improve the OFWO’s ability to meet cyber obligations, with principles such as Zero Trust, Zero Friction, Zero Touch as key cornerstones.
