Whitsunday Regional Council (Principal) requires a suitably qualified organisation (Contractor) to construct new watermain infrastructure from chainage 0.000 to 1379.94 (Site) in accordance with the Contract and the Concept Drawings in Appendix A (Works).

The Works include:

a) Design, supply, installation, commissioning, and cut over of:

1.  A 300mm water main with two 400mm HDPE directional drilling sections;
2.  2 off 150mm water mains; and
3.  a 200mm water main.

b) Interconnections to existing infrastructure;

c) Design, supply, installation, and testing of hydrants;

d) Decommissioning of the existing 100mm water main; and

e) Site rehabilitation.

The Mandatory Tender Briefing will commence at Council's Whitsunday Water and Waste Administration Building, 330 Crystalbrook Rd, Proserpine Qld 4800, Friday 23rd May 2025 at 10.00 am (AEST) and then proceed to Jubilee Pocket.

N.B. PPE is a requirement to attend this site, at a minimum Hi-Vis long-sleeved shirt, full-length pants, and steel cap boots; it is also recommended to wear sun protection.
