Tender Description
The NSW Department of Education is seeking expressions of interest to partner with our Nanga Mai Awards, a celebration of innovation, excellence and achievement in Aboriginal education.
Project goals
Since 2005, the Nanga Mai Awards have celebrated innovation, excellence and achievement in Aboriginal education within NSW public schools and communities.
The awards are held annually and attended by the NSW Department of Education senior executive team including the Secretary, Deputy Secretaries and Executive Directors from around the state. The awards are supported by the NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group Inc. and the Aboriginal Education Council, and organised by the Department’s Aboriginal Education and Communities Directorate.
The Nanga Mai Awards support and align with the Plan for NSW Public Education, Aboriginal Education Policy, the NSW Department of Education and NSW AECG Inc. 'Walking Together, Working Together' Partnership Agreement, the Connected Communities Strategy and Closing the Gap strategy.
Scope
Sponsors will support the program through financial or value-in-kind contributions.
Organisations who can contribute in the following categories are invited to express interest:
- Principal partner (exclusive) - $24,000 + GST
- Platinum partners (3) - $10,000 + GST
- Gold partners (5) - $8,000 + GST
- Value-in-kind partners - $4,000 equivalent value Organisations contributing the equivalent of $4,000 or more in value-in-kind prizes, experiences or other support.

Successful respondents to the EOI will be required to countersign a Sponsorship Agreement or Letter of Agreement subject to NSW Department of Education's:
Commercial Arrangements, Sponsorship and Donations policy and procedures.
