The Corporation of the City of Whyalla is calling tenders for the Removal & Stump Grinding of High Risk trees over a 5 Year Period.

Currently, City Operations maintains a standard within its budget and human resource allocation for the management of trees. There are currently 677 trees that require removal, posing a significant risk under the management of the Council of Whyalla, and this level of work cannot be accommodated within the current resourcing. This has necessitated much of the current tree removal work to be contracted out to ensure management of our high-risk trees.

An indicative listing of trees has been provided as an attachment to the Request for Tender document, although it is subject to change as some high-risk trees are removed, and others may come into the frame for attention. The final list will be provided to the successful tenderer.
