Tender Description
Kia Wharite is a collaborative landscape scale biodiversity project between Horizons Regional Council and the Department of Conservation. Originally Horizons focussed solely on the protection of Whio in the Retaruke River catchment, this changed in 2013 when the area of control expanded into the Waimarino area to protect populations of North Island Brown Kiwi.
This contract work is for trap servicing only across two distinct control areas that are being tendered as two separate contracts.
