Mill Road RoNS Stage 1 : Package 1 Utility Investigation (ROI)

Mill Road RoNs Stage 1 is a government priority for delivery. It is a major component of crown investment into the land transport system. Utilities have been identified as a key risk in the urban section of the corridor. NZTA is providing an opportunity for service providers to demonstrate how their utility investigation methodologies can help derisk design and construction activities in a complex corridor environment and contribute to better delivery outcomes.

Successful utility investigations will help with planning the works, reduce the likelihood of service strikes or design rework due to unknown utilities and reduce unnecessary disruption being experienced by members of the public living adjacent to the corridor. There is a strong focus on optimising resources and driving value for money.
