Aerial Inspection Services for High Voltage Transmission Networks

⁠⁠⁠Scope of work

The Service Provider will deliver comprehensive aerial inspection services for Rio Tinto’s 220kV and 132kV transmission networks in Western Australia. These inspections will occur on a two-yearly rotation and include visual, infrared, and corona imaging to assess the condition of all network components, such as structures, conductors, hardware, and rights of way.

Following each inspection, the Service Provider will prepare and submit a detailed condition report. The report will identify any faults or deterioration, recommend repairs, and support ongoing network reliability. The Service Provider will also provide budget estimates for any identified repairs on an as-needed basis. Further service requirements may be outlined in individual Purchase Orders.

This scope of work is a summary description of goods and/or services that may be required by Rio Tinto and may be subject to change in Rio Tinto’s absolute discretion.

As this is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only, the specifics of the package of work relating to breadth of scope, location and timing may be subject to change. If successful, the Supplier/s will be notified of any changes prior to award.
