Balranald Shire Council is updating to digital meters. To assist BSC with this update, we are seeking to upgrade approximately 2,000 residential meters (Elster V100)

To support this project, the BSC is looking to engage suitably qualified companies to complete this project

This project is to be staged over three to four years, with an initial stage which prioritises the implementation of a technology layer and the remaining budget providing digital meters for installation by BSC

BSC’s requirements for this project are

• Supply of approx. 2,000 residential Digital Water Meters.
• Connectivity and Network Management tools - fully integrated and managed.
• Water Meter data management and insights software - supply and support.
• Integration to Balranald Shire Council’s ERP system (Practical Plus).
• Services and Support during and after completion of this project

The project to be completed over a period of three-four years, dependent on financial commitments

• Other information to consider during the tender provision process,
• Support integration with the existing Civica (Practical Plus) platform to ensure compatibility and streamlined data management.
• Prioritising the identification and resolution of leaks through enhanced data visibility with the new Smart Meters
• Working within BSC’s available budget constraints to deliver the project
