Project goals
The objectives of the Powerhouse Parramatta AV Goods and Services Delivery Program are to:
- Source service providers that can perform all or part of the services outlined within this brief within their organisation or via subcontracting services, where approved by Powerhouse, or multiple service providers if a single service provider cannot be sourced.
- Develop a quality equipment inventory that positions Powerhouse at the forefront of production technology whilst ensuring longevity, scalability, flexibility, and sustainability.
- Ensure lead time and sourcing of equipment can be delivered within the timeframes specified for installation as part of the opening program.
- Ensure the Powerhouse Parramatta site is equipped with an inventory that is interchangeable between venue spaces.
- Guarantee all necessary testing and installation of equipment at the Powerhouse Parramatta site prior to opening.
- Provide a highly qualified and well-presented customer-centric team to deliver the goods and services to the Powerhouse.
- Strive for environmental excellence through sustainable operating practices.
- Comply with all current Australian Standards, Licensing, Acts, and Regulations relevant to audio-visual and technological equipment.
- Comply with Modern Slavery Laws by taking reasonable steps to identify, asses,s and address Modern Slavery in the operations and supply chains relating to the goods and services sought via this SRFT.
Scope
The Service Provider will be required to deliver, stocktake, test, and install temporary power distribution equipment within Powerhouse Parramatta in time for public opening. The goods and services will support the opening exhibitions and ongoing programming requirements across the precinct.
The Service Provider is required to deliver the following goods and services:
- Temporary distribution boards for single-phase and 3-phase power
- Power leads - 240V and 400V
- Cable tray
- Stillage storage
- Power points installed by licensed electrician
- Delivery to Powerhouse Parramatta
- Stocktake, testing, and electrical tagging (on site at Powerhouse Parramatta)
- Installation and certification (on-site at Powerhouse Parramatta)
- Equipment training for Powerhouse staff
- As-built system documentation
- Warranty and replacement support (for the duration of the warranty period)
- Troubleshooting and technical support (for the duration of the handover period)

The Request for Tender (RFT) process seeks to identify tenderer/s whom Powerhouse can engage to provide the goods and services outlined in this tender documentation.

Part C Returnable Schedules and Part D Returnable Schedules – Rates and Hours must be completed and submitted with the Request for Tender (RFT) application.

A Design Overview for Respondents, the Powerhouse Museum Code of Conduct, and the Powerhouse Museum Climate Action Plan 2022-2025 are included to support tender applications.
