The Sydney Academy is seeking suppliers of Grounds and Garden Maintenance (Package A) and Turf Management (Package B) for its site located in Narrabeen, NSW 2101.

Project goals

• Undertake grounds maintenance and turf management in an efficient and innovative manner and in accordance with Australian Standards and best horticultural practices.
• Delivery of Grounds and Garden Maintenance services in accordance with the scope of works and service levels outlined for Package A.
• Delivery of Turf Management and Renovation services in accordance with the scope of work and service levels outlined for Package B.
• As part of Package B, the development of Annual Turf Management and Annual Turf Renovation plans.
• By delivering the required services and activities, ensure:
• Ongoing maintenance of the open space areas specified in the requirements
• safe and appropriate playing areas and quality sports fields
• maximise the availability of the open space areas, supporting the continued delivery of the services provided by the Sydney Academy of Sport
• aesthetically pleasing grounds that are attractive to the Sydney Academy of Sport customers
• Improve the Sydney Academy's sustainability and performance management by reducing its water consumption and reducing/reusing/recycling waste and green waste

Scope

The services are divided into two packages, each with its own set of deliverables:

• Package A - Grounds Maintenance
• Package B - Turf Management

A supplier may tender for Package A or Package B, or for both packages.

The scope of requirements is detailed in the document Part B - State of Requirements and its appendices (see below).

Additional details/instructions

RFT Briefing and Site Visit

Suppliers are asked to attend an RFT briefing and site visit at the time and place shown below. This is an opportunity for Respondents to ask questions about the RFT process and understand the site and its precincts.

Attendance is not mandatory but strongly encouraged.

No more than two persons from each Respondent organisation is permitted to attend the RFT briefing and site visit. Names of persons attending must be emailed to the Contact Officer (tenders@sport.nsw.gov.au) at least one working day prior.
