An opportunity exists for suitably qualified and experienced persons to join Isaac Regional Council’s Audit & Risk Committee as an independent external member, formally commencing in July 2025.

The Audit & Risk Committee (the Committee) is an advisory committee to Isaac Regional Council (Council) that is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations to Council regarding financial management, risk management, governance, internal controls, legislative compliance, internal and external audit planning and reporting. The emphasis is on improving performance, transparency, and managing risk within the Council.

The Committee comprises:

• two (2) Councillors, and

• three (3) independent external members, one (1) being the Chairperson.
