As part of the Gandangara Local Aboriginal Land Council's (GLALC) vision for community support and cultural preservation, the Veterans and Youth Centre project involves the renovation and extension of the existing McCredie Cottage in Guildford, NSW. The upgraded facility will offer inclusive, purpose-built spaces including a reception area, mess hall and dining space, exercise room, counselling and program rooms, office areas, and meeting spaces.

The Centre will deliver dual program supporting veterans and ex-service members through rehabilitation, mental health and employment services, and offering youth diversion programs for young people at risk of re-offending. The development will also feature a Keeping Place, providing a culturally safe environment for connection, learning, and the celebration of Aboriginal identity.

This tender seeks to appoint a Lead Design Consultant to support the delivery of this community project.
