Request for Tender Winning & Crushing of Gravel at Shire Pits

Junee Shire Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors for the winning and crushing of:

• 25,000 tonnes of minus 20mm gravel
• 15,000 tonnes of minus 40mm gravel and
• 5,000 tonnes of minus 70mm gravel at 2 pits located within the Junee Shire.

The contract will be initially signed for one year starting from the 2025-26 year. Council may extend the agreement for another one-year period, subject to the re-signing of a Contractor agreement by the Contractor and Council, provision of the appropriate updated insurances/certifications and rates before expiry, and a review conducted by Council based on the assessment of the Contractor's prior performance and the submitted rates.

Please note that there will be a mandatory pre-tender tour of the pits for all prospective tenderers at a date to be advised.
