Tenterfield Shire Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor in an AS4902 design and construct contract for 4 similar single-span single-lane bridges in the Tenterfield Shire Council, funded under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.

The request for tender is for a lump sum design and construct contract.

The RFT sets out the procurement process and conditions, as well as identifying key conditions which will apply for the Contract, including compliance requirements with Project-specific Job Specific Requirements, Design of work under the Contract, and TfNSW D&C Technical Specifications (the Specifications).

The RFT and Contract differentiate work between Bridgework and Civil Work. The design and construction work for the Civil Work is an Option in the RFT, which Tenderers may also price (separate lump sum), however, TSC may or may not include Civil Work in the Contract. Where the Contract does not include Civil Work, TSC will achieve the Civil Work prior to the successful Tenderer's commencement of construction at all four bridge sites.

Tenderers are required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

No specific prequalification thresholds or scheme registrations apply for this request for tender.

No pre-tender meeting will be held for this Request for Tenders.
