Peer Support Crisis Recovery Cafes - Expansion
Tender ID: 584724
Tender Details
Tender Description
Health New Zealand is seeking registrations of interest from organisations who currently deliver a Peer Support Crisis Recovery Cafe in the Te Manawa Taki Region.
The Crisis Recovery Café expansion will be implemented with allowance for continual improvement over the initial contract term. The service is to be peer-led, with a close relationship with local mental health and addiction services and clear protocols outlining the relationship with mental health and addiction crisis services.
We are seeking responses from current service providers based in the Te Manawa Taki Region to expand their dedicated Peer Support Crisis Recovery Cafe service.
We are also looking for a provider who understands the need for equitable access particularly ensuring the service is inclusive and accessible for disabled people, culturally safe and responsive, with a strong emphasis on supporting priority groups including Maori and Pacific, who continue to experience disproportionate levels of inequity. Providers must also be able to demonstrate deep, trusted connections within their communities.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced staff and organisations to take on a new challenge, extending peer support leadership and growing the peer workforce across a broader, community-based setting in Te Manawa Taki Region.
The registration of interest must be submitted electronically via the tendering portal.
