Are you ready to transform your general practice with cutting-edge, multidisciplinary, team-based care? The Workforce Incentive Program-Practice Stream (WIP-PS) offers financial incentives of up to $130,000 per year before rural loading, for eligible general practices. This initiative is designed to support enhanced models of care across Modified Monash (MM) regions 1-7 by integrating nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals into your team.

The WIP-PS incentives aim to help practices like yours manage the costs associated with engaging these health professionals, fostering a collaborative environment where patient care can thrive.

The WIP-PS Grant Activity

Our Primary Health Network (PHN) is here to support your journey with the WIP-PS. We assist general practices in participating and maximising the benefits of the program by:

• Assessing current utilisation in the region
• Providing additional support to address knowledge gaps
• Sharing knowledge of best practice models of multidisciplinary care
• Supporting general practice participation
