Tender Description
The Health Service invite tenders from appropriately credentialed suppliers to supply and maintain two (2) operating tables (‘Tables’), inclusive of associated accessories and brackets for patient positioning. All equipment must be supplied and installed in a designated time frame to reduce impact to clinical services. The Tables will replace two existing operating tables at the Hamilton Base Hospital which have reached the end of their useful lives with respect to the needs of the hospital.
The successful tenderer will assume responsibility for the removal and disposal of the existing tables. ‘Disposal’ may take many forms. The health service will look favourably upon any proposal to offer a trade-in price or to reuse / repurpose the tables in a different setting (eg: veterinary clinic or overseas charitable location), or for the recycling of the component parts with an accredited recycler.
