The key objective of this procurement is to engage a supplier with proven experience and expertise, to procure, install and configure thirteen CCTV camera sites across nine priority locations in the Waikato District.

The existing CCTV surveillance system is not fit for purpose and does not effectively assist police investigations. The objective of the project is to upgrade outdated infrastructure in the priority locations, such as inefficient servers while ensuring stable power and communication systems, expanding the network’s capabilities and to support the New Zealand Police in reducing crime across the Waikato District.
