Banking and Bill Payment Services

⁠⁠⁠The Barossa Council invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of Banking and Bill Payment Services.The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer for a period of three (3) years with the possibility of extensions of 2 x 2-year periods. The proposed contract start date for implementation is 4 August 2025 with a proposed ‘go-live’ date of 1 October 2025.

Council is keen to work with a Banking and Bill Payment Services provider throughout the Contract period, with the following high level focus areas as a priority:

• Participation within the Barossa community.
• Delivery of new and innovative services to meet the changing market needs in addition to the traditional banking and bill payment suite of products.
• Completion of the requirements under a tailored Services Agreement offered and agreed to by both parties.
• Adherence to the details of the Specification document with a closing date of 30 May 2025.

It is the preference of Council to award the Contract to a single service provider, who will complete all banking requirements associated with day-to-day Council banking functions, and all functions associated with the receipting of transactions for rate payments, and other payments made to and by Council.
