Auction services for NSW Special Number Plates
Project goals
Each year Transport for NSW offers for sale by auction unique, Limited Edition NSW car registration plates (Special Number Plates). Additional styles of Special Number Plates may be offered in the future, in additional auctions.
This RFP relates to the procurement of auction services for the successful sale of these number plates. The proposed contract term is 3 years with 2x one year extension options.
Scope
The auction service provider performs all marketing and operational tasks.
A. Ensure they achieve the revenue target by generating campaigns that engage the right target market and create a desire and demand for the Special Number Plates.
B. Liaise with their membership database to generate interest, conduct advertising and marketing campaigns that attract a wider market.
C. Manage the entire auction process to ensure a robust, transparent and fair process is followed whilst representing TfNSW in a positive light.
D. Provide TfNSW details of the successful bidders of each plate. Including detailed market intelligence – who the customers are, what the advertising campaign achieved, the demographics of these bidders, etc.
E. Work together with TfNSW to ensure the customer journey is optimised.
