Background

The CapSTAR (Capital Security, Technology, and Asset Refresh) Program’s aim is to refresh and maintain essential property and ICT assets, reduce risk in service delivery and to ensure our critical business systems are supported, patched and resilient.

Requirements

The CapSTAR program has a need for additional design and communications capacity in the short term to help address some urgent requests as we head towards the end of the financial year. This activity will help ensure we can meet current demand to provide design and communications capability to ensure effective communication of project objectives, current intended schedule and changes that relate to our users. A provider will be required to work with the Program Management Office, across various project teams and their key stakeholders to complete design activities.

We require a provider to:

• Engage relevant stakeholders and review existing requirements
• Provide design and communications capability to produce materials such as:
• Campaign posters
• Project or change factsheets
• User guides
• Process diagrams
• Branding and Design artefacts

Other Information

• Design elements are expected to be required in a variety of formats, which may require experience with various software, including:
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or similar
• M365 / Microsoft Office suite
• The Department will facilitate the provision of documentation, meeting scheduling, noting that some of the meetings may be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams.
• The successful vendor is preferred to work on department devices/network, but can provide their own equipment or the necessary tools to complete the activities
