CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS IN BRIEF
The Shire of Narrogin is seeking Tenders for the supply and installation of up to 16 single persons accommodation units, at the Narrogin Caravan Park, 80 Williams Road, Narrogin. A full statement of the goods/services required under the proposed contract appears in the Specification (Part 3).
TENDER BRIEFING/SITE INSPECTION
Attendance at this meeting is not mandatory however is highly recommended. Suppliers are requested to attend a Tender Briefing/Site Inspection via appointment with the contact person above.
The location of the meeting is the Narrogin Caravan Park, 80 Williams St, Narrogin. The briefing/site inspection will provide Suppliers with the opportunity to clarify any uncertainties with the contact person prior to the closing of the Tender.

SPECIFICATION
INTRODUCTION
This tender is for the supply and installation of up to sixteen (16) onsite, self-contained accommodation units at the Narrogin Caravan Park, 80 Williams Rd, Narrogin and associated construction tasks including earthworks, connection to electricity, water and sewerage/effluent disposal.
The units to be tendered on will not need to be disability compliant, as the Shire already has three units that comply with this specification. The units can be prefabricated or constructed on site. The Shire will make a decision on the above once Tenders have been evaluated and final pricing is confirmed.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
There are six onsite accommodation units at present that are a combination of one and two bedroom and are fully self-contained chalet style buildings. The new units that are being proposed, are to be designed to cater to the needs of a short stay tenant (workers accommodation).
SCOPE OF WORK
Tenderers are asked to see the Scope of Works at Appendix A in this tender for information regarding the requirements for the units. Also available documents are:
• Appendix B Soil Classification
• Appendix C Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) Assessment
• Appendix D Site Electrical
• Appendix E Site Plan
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONTRACT
• Reporting requirements – The Principal and the successful Supplier will meet at least weekly or more as required to discuss the progress of works.
• Standards (Australian Standards should be used whenever appropriate)
