The Department of Health and Aged Care (the Department) is undertaking a project to deliver a Secure Development Platform (SDP).

The SDP will establish Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for users, to allow them to securely perform software development and testing activities inside a controlled environment where they are restricted to only the minimum level of access required for their activities. This solution is not intended to provide access to sensitive information, systems or environments.

The SDP solution used ASD's Blueprint for Secure Cloud, tailored where required. Relevant policies have been been deployed via Intune to enforce the necessary rules. Security best practices and hardening has been applied to the Entra ID instance.

The Department is seeking an independent penetration test, please refer to the attached Statement of Requirements for additional details.
