The NSW Department of Education seeks expressions of interest from organisations to provide financial support for the development of the Eco Detectives Unite sustainability education game.

Project goals

The NSW Department of Education is interested in partnering with organisations to support the development of Eco Detectives Unite, a transformative environmental education game.

Building on the success of the hugely popular single-player Eco Detectives game developed in 2024, Eco Detectives Unite will introduce a collaborative multiplayer experience that offers an engaging, immersive digital learning environment.

The game, designed to enhance student engagement and revolutionise sustainability education teaching, will be available on a global platform and be accompanied by a comprehensive set of teaching resources.

Designed to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, students will explore essential environmental principles while recognising their rights, including access to education, a healthy environment, and freedom of expression.

Through immersive gameplay, students work together on creative challenges related to Net Zero, carbon credits, renewable energy, and landscape regeneration, fostering a strong sense of ownership over their surroundings.

The Eco Detectives Unite prospectus details current opportunities for cash sponsorship to enhance game and resource development.

The project offers sponsors the opportunity to:

• demonstrate corporate social responsibility
• support real-world sustainability learning
• support teacher innovation and professional learning
• create brand awareness.

Scope

Our corporate partners have the opportunity to enhance the Eco Detectives game experience for students and teachers globally. The department, in return, will provide sponsor profiling and other benefits.

Organisations are invited to express interest in providing cash sponsorship contributions.

Tailored sponsorship packages may be negotiated to meet your organisation's objectives and preferred level of investment.
