The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites tenders for the carrying out of the Metals and Whitegoods Processing Service in accordance with this Request for Tender.

The Supplier is required to receive, sort, repurpose and process or on sell all Metals and Whitegoods delivered by the City's Collection Providers to the Supplier's Nominated Primary Facility or Nominated Alternative Facility, and to maximise resource recovery.

The City runs at least four (4) Special Events each calendar year. The Service Provider is required to supply all Approved Storage Containers to the City's Depots during the Special Events and collect and transport Storage Containers from the City's Depots to its Nominated Primary Facility or Nominated Alternative Facility for processing.

The Service Provider must commence receipt of the Metal & Whitegoods from 1 August 2025 and will be engaged for a period of 2 years and 11 months, with a 1 x 3 year optional extension.

Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this document.
