Tender Description
All infrastructure is to be demolished, removed and terminated at site boundary outlined generally 1 metre away from existing building foundations; except for water mains, as it is feeding the community garden next to leisure centre, and this is to be kept running for the community post work completion.
- The contractor must provide to KMC prior to any demolition works
- A work schedule/sequence (Gannt Chart or similar)
- Demolition work plan
Before demolition or stripping work, prepare and submit the work plan in accordance with AS 2601 (2001) Section 2. Include the checklist items appropriate to the project from AS 2601 (2001) Appendix A, and the following:
- Method of protection and support for adjoining or adjacent structures.
- Locations and details of service deviations and terminations.
- Sequence of work.
- If the demolition program results in components temporarily cantilevered, provide a certificate from a professional engineer.
- Proposals for the safe use of mobile plant on suspended structural members including provisions for the protection of lower floors in the event of structural failure.
- Site specific risk assessment
- Asbestos and Hazardous Materials Assessment Audit
- Hazardous Substances Management Plan.
- Safe Work Method Statements [SWMS]
- Environmental Management Plan
- Waste Minimisation & Management Plan
- Traffic Management Plan
- Dilapidation record
- All permits and licences
