This Request for Tender (RFT) details the Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT) objectives and expectations in relation to construction works associated with RFT 25-05 NMP River Red Gum Parklands Stage 2- Phase 1.

The Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT) is seeking to engage an experienced civil contractor to undertake civil, structural, services, landscaping and associated works, all in accordance with the tender drawings and specifications, at Northern Memorial Park, 56 Box Forest Rd, Glenroy, 3046.

The scope broadly includes the following.

• Bulk excavation, backfill and levelling.
• Construction of a new spoil yard located at the western end of the site.
• Construction of roads, drainage and associated infrastructure and landscaping works.
• Demolition of the existing spoil yard located to the northeast.
• Construction of directional graves in zones marked Y1 & Y4 on the site plan.
• Liaison with authorities and permits as may be required during construction.
