Tender Description
This project includes all works necessary to construct concrete footpaths and kerb ramps at three separate locations in Coonabarabran. Total length approximately 1140m.
The works under the contract include the following activities:
a) Preparation and submission of a project quality plan.
b) Traffic management during construction.
c) Set out of path alignment.
d) On ground identification of underground services
e) Implementation of sediment & erosion control measures as required.
f) Removal and disposal of existing concrete path
g) Earthworks
h) Base preparation including placement of plastic
i) Formwork
j) Installation and fixing of steel reinforcement
k) Concrete placement and finishing
l) Installation of expansion joints, contraction joints and isolation joints
m) Installation of dowel connectors at expansion joints.
n) Repair and replace any damaged underground services including roof water drainage pipes.
o) Adjust height of utility service pit lids as required.
p) Construction of kerb ramps.
q) Installation of tactile indicators on kerb ramps.
r) Installation of signs along pathway.
s) Remediation of disturbed ground areas including placement of turf.
t) Clean and tidy the site after work completion
A non mandatory pre tender meeting will be held at the intersection of Cowper Street and Edwards Street, 12noon Wednesday 30 April 2025.
