Tender Description

Mid-Western Regional Council (Council) invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit a tender for the design and construction of a biogas collection system at the Mid-Western Regional Council Waste Management Centre. The system aims to capture and flare landfill gas to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and potentially generate energy should the modeling for this be viable. The works will include: Designing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining a comprehensive biogas system. A provision of services for monthly tuning, monitoring, reporting, and regular system upgrades. Reporting on an agreed schedule. Registering and administering the generation of Australian Carbon Credit Units on the council’s behalf. For probity Council will engage an external independent auditor directly for the mandatory 2 yearly audits. Provide the Council with an assessment of the site’s viability for power generation after 12-18 months.
