It is intended to award the cyclical contract to one contactor for electrical services and another for mechanical services on a fixed schedule. Contract award will be dependent on the pricing provided in the schedule and the contractors demonstrated capacity6. The selected contractor must demonstrate proven expertise in maintenance operations, supported by a team of skilled technicians capable of executing timely and efficient service delivery.
-Electrical Services
-Mechanical Services
Key Requirements for the contractor to demonstrate include:
-A qualified and sufficient workforce to manage ongoing maintenance tasks effectively.
-The capability to procure and supply necessary materials for on-site maintenance.
-A demonstrated ability to sustain long-term contractual obligations while efficiently managing operational costs.
- Reactive Maintenance- unscheduled, urgent works based on priority and severity. A panel contract is intended to be formed for reactive maintenance with a fixed schedule under a standing offer arrangement. It is intended the Contractor/s awarded cyclical maintenance will be on the panel plus up to an additional 2 contractors per service type.
-Electrical
-Mechanical
A panel contract arrangement will allow the development of smaller contractors in the Region and increase their capability to deliver such services. It will also increase the Departments capacity to attend reactive works in a timely manner and address current resourcing issues being experienced by having one contractor awarded both mechanical and electrical services.
During the contract period, the Superintendent will assess the nature of each specific work requirement and assign the appropriate panel contractor to carry out the work. This will be determined on their current capacity, performance, ability to meet the priority and location of works (if the contractor is already working in the area)
