Testing and Tagging of Electrical Equipment

Central Coast Council is seeking Tenders for the engagement of a licensed, and experienced Contractor to provide and deliver a regular program of electrical testing and tagging, Residual Current Device (RCD) testing, and Thermographic scanning of main and auxiliary electrical distribution boards to ensure that electrical equipment is safe to operate and is compliant with Australian Standard AS/NZS 3760:2022.

As part of the service provision Council may request the service provider to undertake repair or replacement of electrical components such as lead plugs and RCDs. All repair and replacement services are to be compliant with Australian Standard AS/NZS 3000:2018.

The services are to cover Class 1 Electrical Equipment and Class 2 Electrical Equipment and Residual Current Devices (RCDs).

The Contractor is to ensure that the testing is carried out by suitably trained and competent personnel.

Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as a basis for entering into a Contract with the preferred Tenderer.
