Project goals

Before 30 June 2025

· Crushing and sizing of rock materials for forest road pavements from Extension 8 and McDonalds Quarries, and

Before 31 December 2025

· Drilling, blasting, crushing and sizing of rock materials for forest road pavements from Nalbaugh Quarry.

Scope

The scope of works to be carried out under this contract shall comprise of the production of road base material by-

· Crushing and sizing of rock materials for forest road pavements from Extension 8 and McDonalds Quarries, and

· Drilling, blasting, crushing and sizing of rock materials for forest road pavements from Nalbaugh Quarry.

The contractor shall supply all plant, labour, equipment, materials and alike to carry out all works contained within this contract to obtain road pavement/drainage products as specified in this document, within the required timeframes.

The contractor shall comply with the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Act 2013 No 54, Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2014, Explosives Act 2003, Explosives Regulation 2013, Work Health & Safety Act 2011, NSW Work, Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulation 2022, Work Health & Safety Regulation 2011 and any other relevant existing regulation pertaining to these proposed works.

All work must be carried out by licensed/ticketed contractors, conforming to relevant Australian Standards.
