Tender Description
The District Council of Coober Pedy seeks responses for the provision of an Amenities Block within the Coober Pedy township. Grant Funding requirements will require the works to be completed within a short time frame.
SCOPE:
Council is seeking tenders to construct free standing, fully accessible amenities inclusive of all service connections and site preparation, such that a “turn key” solution is provided.
Responses to the Tender will include the provision of all service connections to the Facility, including but not limited to water, mains sewerage, and electricity, all of which are already available on the site.
Stormwater and Backflow prevention devices are also required to be connected.
All as-constructed drawings, warranties, maintenance manuals and all other matters prepared with respect to this Scope of works are required to be delivered after completion of the project to the Council.
Council will appoint a Council Officer or other nominated person to act as the Project Manager for this project.
Council will disconnect, dismantle and remove the old structure, leaving behind the existing electrical switchboard, sewerage pumping chamber and compound fence.
Tenderers are required, as included in the Specifications, to provide a Timeframe that is considered to be both reasonable and achievable, thereby giving Council an assurance that it is considered to be able to either complete or substantially progress the works required before the Government funding requirement deadline of 30 June 2025
Project Requirements:
The Tenderer will be required to obtain a Before You Dig Australia search for any existing underground service locations, prior to commencement of any works. This report will be at thecost of the Tenderer and is to be considered when completing the Response Schedule.

- Cubicles
- Toilet Pans,
- Toilet cisterns
- Hand basin
- Hand Dryer
- Grab Rails
- Flooring
- Walls
- Doors
- External Linings - metal clad
- Roofing
- Showers
- Lighting
- Signage
- Electrical, plumbing, mains sewer connections to existing services.
- Concrete Pad and Footings
