Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora – Whanganui District Hospital (the Principal) is undertaking the following project that are a part of the Energy Transition Programme aimed at reducing carbon emissions nationwide:

The project involves providing heat pumps for three low-temperature hot water systems at Whanganui Hospital. These systems provide the majority of the heat for space heating and domestic hot water. The buildings in-scope on the Whanganui Hospital Campus are Stanford, Te Awhina, and Lambie.
