The purpose of this project is to update and modernise the Audio-Visual services within the Albert Hall Launceston.
SCOPE OF WORKS:
The Albert Hall ("the Hall") was a purpose-built facility constructed to hold the Tasmanian Industrial Exhibition in November 1891. At the time of completion, Albert Hall was the 11th largest public hall in the world. Major upgrades, undertaken in three stages, have been ongoing since early 2021.
The purpose of this project is to update and modernise the Audio-Visual systems and services within the Hall specifically, the following areas:
• Main Auditorium (the Great Hall);
• East Foyer;
• George Bass Foyer;
• John Duncan Room; and
• Tamar Valley Room.
