Central Coast Council is seeking to engage a qualified and experienced construction contractor to undertake Construction Works for the major capital upgrades to the Charmhaven Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).

Council is currently completing a full detailed design to Issued For Construction (IFC) status. This detailed design is being prepared by GHD to 'Issued For Construction' (IFC) status and will form the basis for the Construction Works.

The Construction Works will take place at the Charmhaven STP which is located off (North end of) Hiawatha Road, Charmhaven NSW 2263. The target for awarding the Construction Works contract is November 2025.

STAGE 1 - EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Open (public) request for Expression of Interest (EOI) from those interested in submitting a formal tender for the proposed contract.

The intent of this stage is to identify and shortlist respondents with the relevant expertise and capacity to deliver the requirements of the contract.

MANDATORY PRE TENDER BRIEFING

A Mandatory Tender Briefing is scheduled for the 15th April 2025 at 9:00am at Central Coast Council 2 Hely Street, Wyong Office. Please register your company's interest and nominate a maximum of 2 employees who will be attending. Note space is limited so representatives that have registered will get first preference.
